I've been getting a lot of requests recently for some tutorials on hairstyles I wear a lot, so I thought I would give it a go! This crown braid is the easiest-yet-complicated-looking hairstyle I've ever done. It really takes me five minutes, and I'm ready to go!
I start by spraying some a bit of dry shampo along my roots. This is great because it gives me texture if I just washed my hair and hides the oil if my hair hasn't been washed in a few days!
First, take a small section of hair like I'm doing. Then, break the hair into two smaller sections and twis away from your face.
Once you've completed the first twist, add a small amount of hair to your front section, and twist again!
Keep adding small amounts of hair to the front section and twisting all around your head. It takes a bit of maneuvering in the back, but you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly!
Once you've gotten back up to your part and have no more hair to add, keep twisting your hair until you can't anymore.
Wrap the rest of the hair along the crown you have going, and pin it in place to secure it. In the back, at the end of my hair, I like to criss-cross the bobby pins so they hold the hair better.
Place a couple of pins in the front as well, and your good to go!
