Happy Thursday, guys! I was wanting to do a quick review of the place we stayed in Mexico!

First of all, the place is absolutely stunning. The entire resort is broken down into different sections. We stayed in the Palace, which is the newest part of the resort. When you stay in the palace, you're allowed to visit and use anything in the entire resort, but only the people staying in the Palace are allowed to use the facilities at the Palace, which is super nice!

So when we first got to Mexico, we noticed immediately that everyone was super friendly and so ready to help! I will warn that the airport was a pretty long ways away from the resort. It took our car an hour to get there! When we got there, the lobby was seriously the prettiest thing I'd ever been and was open-air. A lot of the resort actually doesn't have air conditioning and where it does, the AC typically can't keep up with the heat and humidity outside, so be prepared to be a little warm. Fortunately, a woman brought us drinks as soon as we walked up to the check in line, so it was fine with me!

One of my favorite parts about this resort is that it was all inclusive. That means that all meals and alcohol are included. Jackson and I DEFINITELY drank our money's worth because they had a lot of pricier stuff that we could never afford otherwise! Despite the fact that the resort states that it is all inclusive, the wifi, unfortunately, isn't. It was about $40 for the six days that we were there, which isn't terrible. I got Wifi because I needed to work a little bit while I was there. Otherwise, it's a great way to unplug from everything for the week!

One thing I loved about the resort was how close we were to the pool and the beach. Unfortately, though, not everyone lucked out. While our walk to the beach was only about 5 minutes, some people in our family had to walk over 15 minutes to get to the beach, and about 25 minutes to get to where they serve food. And despite booking the trip about six months in advance and requesting rooms near each other, we were all REALLY spread out throughout the resort.

One of my favorite parts of the resort was the rooms. They were HUGE and we just had the basic ones. They had a giant bathroom with a double vanity, and a walk in, doorless showere that seriously felt so luxe. The rooms also had large sitting areas and a balcony. Since everything is included, the fridges were restocked almost every day with beer, sodas, and snacks. I say almost because something was always forgotten time they cleaned it, whether it be towels, restocking the fridge, etc. It was no big deal though, because the staff was more than happy to run stuff up to the rooms.

The food situation was awesome the whole time. We ate at buffets the whole time except for three dinners, and they were so good! There were tons of vegetarian and vegan options for me to eat, and I definitely never went hungry. For our dinners, we ate at a Brazilian restaurant, seafood restaurant, and french restaurant. Everyone agreed that the French was by far the best. From the food to the atmosphere, it felt magical.

One more thing I have to talk about were the water sport situation. They were INCREDIBLE!! You had the option to rent stuff like snorkel gear, paddle boards, water trikes (I'd never even heard of these before) and a catamaran even. They also had stuff like jet skis that you could rent, but it cost money so we decided against it. We ended up having a guide take us on a catamaran and it was so cool! I'd always wanted to ride on one ever since I was one in The Princess Diaries, hahaha! It's also really great that you can rent snorkel gear, because there are reefs all along the beach we were on! Guys I kid you not at one point a huge sea turtle swam up to me and we swam alongside each other for a few seconds and it was the most magical part of the whole trip!

Okay guys I'm pretty sure I sumed everything up! Thanks for reading and let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.

Much Love,
Vikka
