Beach Weekend

I went down to Destin for a family reunion this past weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. There were little to no waves on the water, and it was crystal clear. My aunt and I joked that we felt like we were actually in the middle of the Caribbean, rather than the United States. I was even able to test out my underwater camera a little bit!

We stayed in Miramar Beach, and ended up driving through Watercolor and Seaside, where we were able to stop and take a couple of pictures. We also ended up stopping and eating at Bud and Alley's in Seaside, and wow it was good. It's amazing in the afternoon if you're wanting an open restaurant with a great view of the water. Later in the evening, it transforms into a nightlife hotspot, with string lights and live music. It was definitely a place I'll be revisiting!
