I really wanted to be able to go to Biltmore when we were in Asheville, but we had a super tight budget, and it just wasn't feasible since tickets are so expensive. Instead, we decided to walk around Biltmore Village instead. It's just two miles north of the Biltmore Estate. When we were there, I said I felt like we had been transported back to another time. Everything was so incredibly charming!
While we were here, we ate at the Corner Kitchen. If you haven't been before, I highly recommend it! It kind of has this bed and breakfast vibe when you walk in. It also feels a little like a coffee shop. But the food is way beyond sandwiches and salads! I had the most amazing falafel burger! I loved how it catered to both vegetarians and "normal" diets as well, because Jackson was able to find something that he absolutely loved as well. And everyone was so over-the-top friendly and nice. We had a little bit of a wait, because the restaurant is so popular, but it was well worth it!
