Gifts for Him

Jackson and I started dating about a month before his birthday. At the time, it was such a casual relationship that I had no idea what to get him! Long story short, I ended up treating him to Domino's (we were poor freshman, don't judge, haha) and we spent the night watching movies and hanging out. But now that we've been dating for a while, I feel like I have a better grasp of the type of things he likes! Here's a couple of things that I can recommend for you're men as well!

1. A Candle

While Bath & Body Works might be one of the girliest stores out there, they actually have some really awesome candles for men. Because let me tell you. If you are dating a guy living by himself under 30, he needs a candle in his life. I'm not saying it's just guys, but I am saying that candles completely change the way a space feels! If you're not into Bath & Body Works, head over to TJ Maxx, because over half my candles are from there. Target also has a great selection to choose from.

2. Cologne

This one can be a little bit trickier if you don't know what your man wears. You can always take him with you to pick it out! If he doesn't wear anything, get a feel for what scents he likes based on other things he has and go from there, or, once again, take him with you!

3. A Watch

I have three of my favorite watches here from $14-$160. When people think of getting their boyfriend a watch, they think of blowing a bunch of money, but places like Target and other websites can offer watches for super inexpensive watches that look nice as well!

4. Chacos

For the ~adventurous~ men in the world. Last year, for Jackson's birthday last year, I had one instruction: Do not get him Chacos. They're ugly and he wouldn't wear them if he was gifted them. And guess what I did. I bought him chacos and he now wears them almost every day (when it's warm, at least). They're comfy and great for light-moderate hiking, especially if there's going to be water involved! If you're man is still wearing $2 flip flops from Walmart, do both of you a favor and invest in some Chacos.

5. Hair or Beard Products

This is the exact beard kit I gave Jackson for Christmas last year. I got him the Beard Kit on the right last year for Christmas and he loved it! If you man has been complaining about a dry or itchy beard, get him beard wash and a beard balm. Or getting your man something he's running low on is thoughtful as well! That way, you know he'll use and enjoy it.

6. Concert Ticktes

Concert tickets are a great gift because not only do you have something to get him, but you also have a great date! Concert tickets don't have to be expensive. You can get $20 tickets for a band neither of you have heard of and try something new!

Much Love,
Vikka
