Happy Monday, guys! I cannot stop looking at the pictures from a couple weeks ago, it was just such a fun trip to Florida! On day two, we drove over to Ginnie Springs. I wasn't totally sold about it before we got there, because camping is super pricey. We paid $45 for a primitive site! Once we made it there, I totally changed my mind, it was amazing!
The campsites were beautiful and huge and the main building offered tons of different rentals. My sister, Christian, and I rented fins for a couple of hours and it was so fun! We were also able to get some firewood and have a little campfire. And the springs were stunning! They had several different ones to check out, and we camped right next to Ginnie Spring so we would be able to walk to it quickly, so we mostly hung out there. The springs were stunning and, once again, super cold! It definitely took a couple of minutes to get adjusted. The springs connects to a river that's easy to swim to, and was much warmer as well!
There were a TON of people at this location and the ages ranged all over the place. There were tons of families, but also tons of people our age there for spring break! The springs definitely got a little more spring break-esque that night, we could hear music all the way at our car! But everyone was super friendly and fun to be around!
We really stayed in swimsuits most of the time, but I wanted to wear something nice while we walked around and took pictures. I'm in love with the TJ Maxx top I have on, the colors and style are perfect! My shorts and hat are actually from TJ Maxx as well, haha, I'm so in love with that place!
