Happy Monday, guys! Today I'm sharing my favorite mulled wine recipe just in time for the holidays! I compiled this recipe based on tons of different recipes I found on Pinterest. There's so many mulled beverage recipes out there! This one is super simple and only takes about 35 minutes to make!

For this recipe, you will need:

1-2 bottles of wine (I like getting one sweet and one dry wine)
½ cup of brandy
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cloves
2 oranges

For the wine in this recipe, I like getting super inexpensive bottles, since the flavor will really change. I don't like drinking the red Oak Leaf by itself (the white is a whole other story) but it tastes great in this recipe!

First start by putting your pot on simmer. You don't want to put the pot too hot and cook out all the alcohol or reduce the flavors too much! Then go ahead and add all the ingredients in!

Once you've added all the ingredients, cover the pot and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

And that's it! Turn your stove off and let the wine sit. I pour my wine into a mug and let it sit for about 5 minutes because it can be super hot at first. This is the perfect thing to serve at a party, since its so easy to make!

If you're not having a party and just want a reason to make this, just reduce the recipe and make it for yourself and a couple of friends or your significant other for a romantic evening. In my opinion, this wine is also great left over, so if you want to make a full batch, you can put the rest in your fridge and keep it for a couple days. Just microwave it to heat back up!

Much Love,
Vikka
