For a long time now, my hair has felt extra damaged and extra stringy. The ends just couldn't take the treatments I was getting to keep my hair as light as it was, even though I wanted to go even lighter. Even with the two deep conditioning treatments each week, my hair still felt dry and dead. I was getting sick of my hair feeling so unhealthy so, despite wanting long hair, I decided that a big haircut was in order.
A few weeks ago, I went to get a haircut and highlights and I was ready to end it all. That's when I discovered this magical little treatment called Olaplex. It was pricier than I was used to, but I am not lying when I say it was 100% worth every dollar I spent. Not only was my hairdresser able to get my hair much lighter than normal, but my hair felt soft and healthy at the end, rather than stringy like it normally did.
In the end, I only needed to cut off around three or four inches of hair, which may seem like a lot to some but was a blessing to me. My hair came back to life, it felt softer and my natural curls came back to life.
Olaplex may have worked for me, but I'm wanting to know what works for you guys! I'm always looking for ways to make my hair softer, so let me know what your favorite treatments are!
