I drove down to Chattanooga on Monday to go apartment hunting. While I was there, I (finally) took Jackson to the Blue Hole! This was my third time going, but it never gets less thrilling!
If you're ever in Chattanooga during the summer and looking for something to do, I HIGHLY recommend the Blue Hole in Soddy Daisy. You can get on the trail and stop at any of the river access, but if you hike a little over a mile, you reach the cliff jumping area, and it's crazy fun! If you walk another 25 minutes or so, you'll reach an rope swing that is not for the faint hearted, since you let go about 30 feet in the air!
If you end up going to blue hole, don't forget your Chacos, because you'll have to cross the stream at one point! And since Chattanooga get's so hot, bring water! My last tip is to either leave your phone in the car or put it in a Lifeproof case. And since I'm talking about Lifeproof cases, make sure it's completely sealed! I killed my phone when I went to the Blue Hole because the bottom of the case wasn't 100% sealed, and I've learned that life without a phone really does suck.
I'll be moving back to Chattanooga at the beginning of August, but am staying in Nashville until then! Does anyone have recommendations for sweet things to do in Nashville this summer?? I'm dying to try something new!
P.S. If anyone is curious: I found an apartment, it's beautiful, and I am so psyched to be living in it in August!
